As part of our commitment to protecting women and children, The Tribe Circle provides up to 24 months of temporary housing and support for women and children in emergency and transitional situations. Referrals are accepted on a case-by-case basis. We embrace the belief that all people deserve a life free from psychological, emotional and physical abuse.
The Safe Housing Program is a place for women and children regardless of religion, color, race, ethnicity, creed, national origin, age, mental/physical capabilities and financial status. We respect the uniqueness of every individual staying with us and seek to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our doors.
During your stay at at The Tribe Circle House we provide survivors of domestic and sexual violence a safe environment with access to counseling, case management, and other forms of support and information to assist them in achieving independence. The basic assistance of food, clothing, baby supplies and emergency transportation may also be provided as needed. Your stay is voluntary and by no means must you complete certain programs while sheltered but our services will remain open to you, confidentially and free of charge.
Our program goal is to help residents recognize their own distinctive interests, strengths, and skills, and to assist them in achieving their goals of housing and stability. The Tribe Circle provides women and children to address these goals in several areas:
To meet these objectives, The Tribe Circle provides residents with both in-house programs and community-based services. We promote trust through collaboration between residents and community-based service providers as families work to achieve their housing goals.
